Affiliate Programme Terms
The terms of OddsRelay's affiliate programme: joining, how links are tracked, what earns commission, payment, and the rules for promoting us.
Contents
These terms govern the OddsRelay affiliate programme (the "programme"). The programme is run by the sole trader who trades as OddsRelay ("OddsRelay", "we", "us", "our"). You ("you") accept these terms when you join through our affiliate portal (opens in a new tab), or when you share your link, after they are published on this page.
Who runs the programme
- OddsRelay alone runs the programme, and is solely responsible for it and for every commission due under it.
- We use PromoteKit for the affiliate portal, your link and referral tracking. PromoteKit provides software only. It is not a party to the programme or to these terms, and it has no liability to you for commissions, tracking or payouts.
- PromoteKit is a third-party beneficiary of this clause and may enforce it under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. No one else has rights under these terms.
- When you join through the portal you also accept PromoteKit's own Affiliate Terms (opens in a new tab). How the programme works between you and us is set by these terms.
Joining
- You must be 18 or over. Your affiliate account opens when you sign up. Joining is free.
- You may join as an individual or for a business you can bind. You are independent of us, and you may not make promises or agreements for us.
- We may decline anyone, or close an affiliate account as "Ending" says.
- We and PromoteKit hold your details and referral records to run the programme, as our Privacy Policy describes.
Your link and how referrals are tracked
- Your link has the form
https://oddsrelay.io/?via=<your code>, and?via=<your code>works on any page of oddsrelay.io. Links to app.oddsrelay.io, or to our sign-up and sign-in addresses, track nothing. Do not addref,afforpromocodeto your link: they replace your code. - Opening your link sets a PromoteKit cookie in that browser for 60 days. A paid plan bought in our dashboard from that browser within those days is credited to you. The first affiliate's link wins.
- Nothing is credited if the cookie was blocked, deleted or expired, or if the purchase is made in another browser or on another device. We pay on the referrals PromoteKit records, and we do not add missing ones by hand.
What earns commission
- We pay you 30% of each payment a customer you referred makes for a paid self-serve plan from our pricing page, bought through our checkout, in the 12 months from their first payment. It follows what they actually pay, including after a change of plan, and it stops when they stop paying.
- It is worked out on the amount actually paid in pounds. We charge no VAT, so there is none to take off.
What does not earn commission
- Enterprise deals we agree, invoice or send a payment link for, including when a customer you referred moves to one.
- The free plan and any trial we offer.
- Purchases for an account you own or belong to, paid with your card or email address, or by your employer.
- Purchases by an account that has paid us before.
- Refunded or disputed payments, as "Refunds and disputes" says.
- Referrals that come from breaking these terms.
Getting paid
- Commission is owed in pounds. The portal may show it converted into US dollars.
- Within 30 days of the end of each month we pay the commission on that month's payments, by bank transfer to a UK account or by PayPal, to the details you give in the portal, once you are owed at least £25. A smaller balance rolls over.
- We review every commission before we pay it. We may hold one while we look into a possible breach or fraud, and we tell you if we do.
Refunds and disputes
- Our fees are non-refundable except where the law requires. If we refund a payment, its commission is removed.
- If a customer disputes a payment with their card issuer, its commission is removed and, if already paid, comes off your next payment.
Rules for promoting OddsRelay
You must:
- Add "18+. Please gamble responsibly." wherever your content talks about betting.
- Say only what oddsrelay.io says on the day about our coverage, update times, plans and prices.
- Follow the law that applies to you, including UK advertising rules, and the rules of each platform and community you post on.
You must not:
- promise or suggest profit, winnings, or "risk-free" or "guaranteed" results, or present our data as tips or advice;
- describe or guess at how we collect our prices;
- send unsolicited emails or messages, use bought lists, or spam your link;
- use coupon, voucher, cashback or reward sites, reward anyone for signing up, or call the free plan a discount;
- use "OddsRelay" or anything like it in a domain, handle, app or channel name or email sender name, or pose as us; use our logo only as our kit supplies it;
- place your link beside betting sites that are not licensed where your audience is, or aim at under-18s;
- use cookie stuffing, hidden or forced clicks, link-rewriting extensions, fake sign-ups, extra accounts or bought votes.
Using our data in your content
- Our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy govern your own use of OddsRelay: a self-serve plan is for your own use.
- While you are an affiliate, you may also show the data, and what you make from it, in your own videos, posts, articles and newsletters.
- A public tool, site, feed, alert service or bot built on the data serves other people, and needs an Enterprise Order.
Taxes
- We pay commission in full, with nothing deducted. Your tax, and any registration it needs, is yours. In the UK, HMRC's trading allowance (opens in a new tab) may cover small amounts.
- If you are VAT-registered, the commission includes any VAT due on it.
Changes to these terms
- We may change these terms, including the rate. A change that cuts what you are paid takes effect 30 days after we email it to the address you joined with. Other changes take effect when posted here.
- A change applies to payments made after it takes effect. The effective date above shows the current version.
Ending
- You can leave at any time by emailing us. We can close your affiliate account at any time, by email.
- When an affiliate account ends, we pay the commission on payments made before the end, and nothing after it.
- If we close it because you broke these terms, the commission linked to the breach is not paid.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything the law does not allow to be limited. Subject to that, neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue or business. We are not liable for referrals the tracking misses or for PromoteKit's service, and our total liability to you is limited to the commission paid or owed to you in the 12 months before the claim. You will cover our reasonable losses from a claim, or a regulator's ruling, about content of yours that breaks these terms or the law.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them (including non-contractual disputes), are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
