Bet code (booking code)
A bet code is a short reference that stores a bookmaker betslip so it can be shared or rebuilt — common across African books and central to bet-code converters.
A bet code, or booking code, encodes a selection of markets into a short string a punter can share or load. They are hugely popular in markets like Nigeria, where tipsters share codes and bettors port them between books.
Converting a code from one book to another means continuously reading both books' markets and prices, which needs maintained, normalised data — exactly what a feed provides, so the converter is not built on a fragile scraper.
