Extra place
An extra-place offer pays out on more finishing positions than the standard each-way terms, creating matched-betting value in racing and golf.
Bookmakers sometimes pay each-way on extra places — say the top five instead of four. If your selection finishes in one of those extra spots, the place part of an each-way bet wins where the exchange lay implies it should not, creating value.
OddsRelay has a dedicated extra-place matcher type, since this is where a lot of racing and large-field golf matched betting concentrates.
OddsRelay delivers this as part of one already-matched feed. See live coverage on the coverage dashboard.
