bet365 odds APIs compared
bet365 publishes no odds API of its own, so its prices reach a product through a data supplier. Here ten odds APIs are compared on what their own pages say about bet365: whether they list it, for which region, on which plan, and what sits beside it on the exchange side.
OddsRelay publishes this page and is one of the ten. Providers are in alphabetical order, not ranked. Facts checked 12 October 2026. OddsRelay is not affiliated with or endorsed by bet365.
bet365 at each provider
What each provider's own pages say about bet365, the plan that carries it, and what sits beside it on the exchange side. Each name opens that provider's comparison with OddsRelay, where there is one.
| Provider | bet365, on its own pages | Plan | Exchange lay beside it |
|---|---|---|---|
| BetsAPI | Its main product: a bet365 API its docs say covers all the markets and odds on bet365's site, pre-match and in-play. No region named. | A paid bet365 API package. It sells low-priced trial packages and says it offers no free trials. | Betfair Exchange back and lay prices, with size, from a separate Betfair API, for you to pair. |
| Odds-API.io | On its UK bookmaker page. Its bet365 page states pre-match and live odds and player props. | Every plan, its bet365 page states. Its pricing page says new free keys are paused. | Exchange books on paid plans, where a row can carry lay prices and the amount available, for you to pair. |
| OddsBlaze | In its sportsbooks index, with odds, player props, alternate markets, futures and historical odds. No country or region named. | Not named. Two published plans and Enterprise, and a free trial key. | Its index does not list Betfair, Smarkets, Matchbook or BETDAQ, and its odds docs carry no lay field. |
| OddsPapi | In its UK bookmakers list, with country versions such as bet365 BR and bet365 DE listed separately. | Its free plan covers every bookmaker for 250 requests a month, its free-plan post says. | Betfair Exchange and Matchbook back and lay odds, for you to pair. |
| OddsRelay | Featured football and UK and Irish racing, pre-match. bet365's page lists the feeds that carry it. | Every plan, Free included. | Paired on the matched boards: each bet365 back price beside lay prices and liquidity from Betfair, Smarkets, Matchbook and BETDAQ. |
| OpticOdds | Not in its public developer reference table, refreshed October 2026. Its docs point to a key-gated / endpoint for the current list, and its old bet365 page now opens its sportsbooks page. | Sales-led: pricing on request through a form. | Betfair Exchange, with separate lay sources, and Matchbook as raw sources. |
| SharpAPI | One entry, Bet365 US, with its region given as US. | Paid plans, not the free tier: from Hobby in its sportsbook reference, among Pro's additions on its docs pricing page. | Betfair's back and lay sides as two books (betfair, betfair_) from its Sharp plan, plus Smarkets and Matchbook, for you to pair. |
| SportsGameOdds | Pre-match and live, its bet365 page says. No region named. | Its Pro plan and above. Neither its free Amateur plan nor its paid Rookie plan carries it. | Betfair Exchange and Matchbook with one price per side; its schema documents no lay field. |
| The Odds API | Only in its Australia region (bet365_), for AFL and NRL head-to-head, spreads and totals. Not in its UK region. | Paid plans only, its bookmaker list says. | Separate h2h_ markets for exchanges, for you to pair. |
| UK Odds API | Listed (UO004), for UK pre-match football. | Starter keys pick up to 10 bookmakers; Pro and Business carry all 34. Its free tier carries 10Bet and BetFred only. | One price per bookmaker per outcome, with no separate lay price. |
Choosing the best bet365 odds API
The best bet365 odds API for you is the supplier whose bet365 prices you can check yourself before you sign. Six checks separate one supplier from another: market depth, serving status, lay side, price age, cost and contract.
All six run on OddsRelay's free plan before any payment, and you can sign up free.
| Check | Ask any supplier | Where OddsRelay answers it |
|---|---|---|
| Market depth | Which of my markets carry bet365? | Your own markets, called with bookmakers= |
| Serving status | Is bet365 serving right now? | GET /, no key needed |
| Lay side | Which exchanges sit beside the bet365 back price? | The lay offers on a matched board, each with available |
| Price age | Where does the reply say how old a price is? | meta.processed_, meta.last_, raw last_ |
| Cost | What does a bet365-only call cost? | quote= on the call, which spends nothing |
| Contract | Can I read the schema without a sales call? | /, no key needed |
Three kinds of supplier carry bet365
bet365 prices reach a product through three kinds of supplier: raw odds APIs or aggregators, enterprise data feeds and matched feeds. The last column is what separates a good supplier of each kind from a poor one.
| Kind of supplier | What you receive | Exchange lay side | What to verify |
|---|---|---|---|
| Raw odds API or aggregator | Back prices per bookmaker | Often there as separate exchange prices, unpaired, so you pair them yourself | bet365 depth on your markets |
| Enterprise data feed | Broad raw prices under a contract | Varies by contract | Terms, and what matching is left to you |
| Matched feed | Back prices paired with exchange lay | Included, with the liquidity on offer | How pairs are formed, and whether each lay shows its liquidity |
Book count is the wrong first question
A headline book count is the easiest figure to print and the least useful one for a bet365 buyer. A feed can list hundreds of books and still carry bet365 on a handful of markets. Start from the markets your product shows, then ask for bet365 on exactly those.
On OddsRelay that is one call: bookmakers= with the markets, sports and kick-off window (commenceTimeFrom, commenceTimeTo) you need, as filtering matched odds shows. A supplier that can only answer with a total has not answered the question.
bet365's serving status should be public
Our check is public: GET / needs no key and returns each product, venue and sport as live (serving now) or interrupted_ (not serving now, though it served within the last 24 hours). The coverage page lists what is covered, without live status, and this route is the live check.

Put the same question to every supplier you shortlist, and ask for an answer you can read without them.
Ask where the lay side comes from
A bet365 back price on its own is a number. For an oddsmatcher or a comparison tool it becomes useful once it sits beside an exchange lay price for the same selection, with the liquidity on offer at that price. Decide early whether you want the supplier to do that pairing or whether you will build the matcher yourself. This one choice rules out whole kinds of supplier.
On OddsRelay's standard board, bet365 back offers sit beside exchange lay from Betfair, Smarkets, Matchbook and BETDAQ, and a lay too thin to use is left off. In the reply that pair is one outcome: a back offer whose bookmaker is bet365, with its price, beside lay offers that each carry an exchange, a price and available. bet365's page lists every board that carries its prices, and the bet365 odds data guide walks through a full row field by field.
Your code turns the two prices into a rating and a qualifying loss at your own commission rate, and the oddsmatcher widget shows the same numbers.
// back from a bet365 offer, lay from an exchange offer on the same outcome
const rating = (back / lay) * 100;Whoever supplies the pair, ask which exchanges it draws on. A lay side from one exchange misses prices the others may be showing.
Price age belongs in the reply
Every product on sale meets a maximum update time of 10–20 s: how old a bookmaker's price can be when it reaches you. Our matched and raw board replies carry the board's time in meta.processed_ and the X-Processed-At header (the header alone under format=). Matched boards add meta.last_, the last read per venue and sport, so now minus bet365's entry is an upper bound on a bet365 price's age. Raw carries a last_ per market, the time that market last changed. The freshness guide shows how to read each field.
Price a bet365-only call
A bet365-only call should cost less than a call for every book, so ask each supplier whether naming books lowers the price. We price a call from the request, the board and its filters, and naming bookmakers narrows the price on the standard, dutching and raw boards. On the other matched boards, a call costs the same whatever you filter. Add quote= and the call is priced without spending anything.

# {"cost": …, "remaining": …, "rate_card": "…"}The filters and tokens guide explains the rate card, and pricing lists the plans.
Read the contract before you write a parser
bet365 sets no spec, so each supplier names its own fields, event ids and market keys. OddsRelay's OpenAPI 3.1 contract is keyless at https:/, and the reference renders it. OddsRelay's event ids are opaque and never change once served. To join another supplier's events to them, match on teams and kick-off.
bet365 on OddsRelay
OddsRelay is an odds API with bet365 on every plan, Free included, for featured football and UK and Irish racing. It sells six matched boards and a raw board, covering 140+ bookmakers, 60+ of them live in the UK & Ireland, all on every plan, so plans differ only in tokens. The feed is built for pre-match prices and has no in-play product, so in-play bet365 odds have to come from another supplier.
